saltandpeppin: Hugeeeee fan. Any chance the guitar peeps can tell me what pedals/gear they're running? really dig your tone!

Hiiiiiii thanks. Sean and I both use Fulltone OCD pedals and both just recently picked up TC Electronics reverb pedals. I play a Boss digi-delay and an MXR compressor pedal. Sean has a few weird pedals, maybe an octave pedal and he has a BOSS looper pedal. Sean is a Les Paul guy and I have a few different gibson and a jag. Sean plays a Science Hellhawk through an oversized Mesa 4x12. I play a V4 through a Science 4x12. I honestly think that so much about tone comes from technique and how you set up your amp. Sean and I both have terrible technique and play way too hard and break stuff a lot and I think that that comes through in our tone. Glad someone likes it!

Anonymous: Hello guys! Hope you guys are doing great. Did Brian design the flyers for Punch mini tour?

Hi. I quit playing in Punch and haven’t designed anything for them in a while. However they still use elements from older stuff that I designed to use for new shirts and fliers. - Brian

andchildrenandchildren: If enough of your VT-22 is still intact you can get a replacement PCB for the preamp on eBay.

its all there and fixable, just not willing to invest the $400 into fixing it at the moment. Its really old, a ‘69 I think. It’s an earlier model from before they know that they were prone to catching on fire. It needs to be completely rebuilt. For now it makes a great chair for the studio.

Anonymous: hey, i think i remember Brian saying that he had a vt-22 on here? I'm thinking of getting one and was just wondering if they're worth it? I'd be trading a tsl 100 watt

Hi yeah I have one. Its great, sounds like a V4 through a 2x12. Its almost too loud though, too loud if you are looking for that combo amp sound. Its as loud as someone playing though a 4x12. I would still play mine if it hadn’t caught fire and been totally melted.
